We are seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance for our Swiss headquarters.
This hands-on role will help drive global finance strategy, improve processes, and ensure effective controls in collaboration with group and local teams.
The position also provides guidance on reporting, controlling, and transfer pricing for subsidiaries, while ensuring timely and consistent statutory filings across all entities.<br> <br> </strong> <br> <br> <strong>
Job Description<br> </strong> <b>
Accounting &amp;
Financial Reporting</b> </p><ul> <li>
Own general ledger, accounting, and financial close for the Swiss HQ entities</li> <li>
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting</li> <li>
Prepare variance analyses and financial commentary</li> <li>
Ensure data quality and compliance with group accounting policies.</li> </ul> <b>
Statutory Compliance &amp;
Audit</b> <ul> <li>
Prepare statutory financial statements for the Swiss HQ entity under Swiss GAAP FER</li> <li>
Ensure compliance with Swiss legal, accounting, and tax requirements</li> <li>
Oversee statutory filings and compliance for local entities, coordinating with local finance teams and external advisors</li> <li>
Lead HQ audits and coordinate local entity audit processes</li> <li>
Act as primary contact for auditors and advisors at HQ level.</li> </ul> <b>
Planning &amp;
Performance Support</b> <ul> <li>
Support forecasting and financial planning processes for Global Functions (e.g.
HR, R&amp;
D)</li> <li>
Monitor performance against plan and forecast</li> <li>
Analyze deviations and support corrective actions.</li> </ul> <b>
Governance &amp;
Internal Controls</b> <ul> <li>
Ensure effective internal controls and financial governance</li> <li>
Maintain and enforce finance policies and procedures</li> <li>
Identify financial and compliance risks and support mitigation actions</li> <li>
Support internal audits and compliance reviews.</li> </ul> <b>
Stakeholder &amp;
Team Collaboration</b> <ul> <li>
Work closely with the CFO and Habasit Group Management Team</li> <li>
Provide functional guidance to local finance teams and entity controllers</li> <li>
Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, HR and external consultants</li> <li>
Support global ERP (e.g SAP S4 HANA) implementation and enhancement as Finance Stream Lead.</li> </ul> <strong>
Your Profile<br> </strong> <b>
Qualifications &amp;
Experienc</b>e<ul> <li>
Min.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li> <li>
Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting &amp;
Controlling)</li> <li>10+ years of experience in an international environment</li> <li>
Proven experience with Swiss legal entities and statutory reporting</li> <li>
Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER or IFRS.</li> </ul>
To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to possess very strong functional skills, proven leadership experience and strong communication skills.<br> <ul> <li>
Demonstrated success in financial accounting, risk analysis, and corporate governance </li> <li>
Knowledge of SAP (FICO) and Hyperion </li> <li>
Fluent in English and German </li> <li>
Ability to work independently but with strong influencing skills in an international matrixed environment </li> <li>
